I dated a girl I wasn’t attracted to for 2 months and she was so into me. We almost had sex but I made excuses at the last minute because I wasn’t into her and knew I never could be because I’m gay. I told friends we’d had sex anyway because I was ashamed. I got carried away. I also told a tale of a one night stand with a guy which never actually happened. I lied because it fit the persona I created for myself and I wanted to seem like the kind of guy who’d do stuff like that so it would hide my insecurities.
